Founded in 1973 in Grimstad, Norway by Eyvin Aalrud, Marex – a contraction of the Latin “mare” meaning sea and “rex” meaning king – has enjoyed a remarkable reputation for 50 years.
The company’s success is due to the high standards it sets at all stages of production, resulting in boats of the highest quality, beautifully designed and comfortable.
Each model offers a deep sense of space, sturdiness and safety, much appreciated by families.

A legendary canopy system:
Designed to offer a quick and effective solution for protection from the elements while making life on board easier, the canopy system is one of Marex’s most emblematic boat solutions.
Unlike traditional systems, which are often complex to handle and unsightly, the canopy allows the cockpit to be opened or closed in less than a minute, without any particular effort: simply slide the protective covers into two discreet boxes integrated into the sides of the cockpit. The coachroof, mounted on a sheet track, also offers perfect modularity.
This system illustrates Marex’s philosophy: to offer families the possibility of boating in all seasons, without compromising on the quality of life on board.
