The Marex 440 Scandinavia offers the same luxury as the Gourmet Cruiser, but with a different deck layout, featuring an indoor lounge and an outdoor lounge, both highly versatile and separated by a large glass panel. She also offers 2 or 3 spacious, bright cabins and two bathrooms. Its comfort and versatility make it the perfect boat for long, year-round family cruises.
Two lounges for geater comfort while cruising
- A cleverly concealed TV in the cockpit roof that can be turned towards the indoor lounge or outdoor lounge.
- A folding co-pilot bench seat offering maximum modularity. It can be adapted to face forward when sailing, or to create a remote working area. Once folded down, it blends in perfectly with the seating in the dining room.
- Two side doors, on the pilot and co-pilot sides, for quick and easy access to the side decks and foredeck, making all manoeuvres easily accessible.

What is the difference between the Marex 440 Gourmet Cruiser and the Marex 440 Scandinavia?
Both versions share the same platform and are available with the same number of cabins, but their living spaces are arranged differently. The Marex 440 Gourmet Cruiser features a very large U-shaped galley opening onto the cockpit, while the 440 Scandinavia replaces part of the galley with a second indoor dining area.
Is the Marex 440 Scandinavia available with three cabins?
Yes. Like the Marex 440 Gourmet Cruiser, the Marex 440 Scandinavia is available with either two or three cabins. The three-cabin configuration accommodates up to six guests in dedicated cabins and includes two heads, making her particularly suitable for families or owners who regularly welcome guests aboard.
Can the canopy system on the Marex 440 Scandinavia be electrically operated?
No. As on all Marex models, the canopy system on the Marex 440 Scandinavia is entirely manual, eliminating the risk of electrical or mechanical failure. The canvas panels are integrated into the boat’s structure and slide along tracks, allowing the cockpit to be enclosed quickly. This simple system makes it easy to transform the cockpit from a fully open space into a completely sheltered living area.
Can the Marex 440 Scandinavia be fitted with a hydraulic bathing platform?
Yes. As with the Marex 440 Gourmet Cruiser, a hydraulic bathing platform is available as an option on the Marex 440 Scandinavia. When lowered — down to 60 cm below the waterline — it creates a genuine “beach club” area, with a wide-step staircase deploying automatically. The submerged platform also makes launching and recovering the tender exceptionally easy.
