The Marex shipyard expands its production facility in Lithuania

Marex invests in a new production and showroom facility in Lithuania

The Marex shipyard is accelerating its development with the construction of a new facility in Lithuania. Dedicated in particular to boat production and exhibition, this new hall will cover 11,000 sqm, adding to the existing 20,000 sqm already in operation. This new space marks an important milestone in the evolution of the Scandinavian builder, renowned for the exceptional build quality of its premium family cruisers.

With this expansion, Marex is significantly increasing its production capacity while further improving working conditions, logistics and the energy efficiency of its industrial site.

A new milestone in the development of the Marex shipyard

The new Marex facility has been designed to support the brand’s continued growth and meet the strong demand across its six models, ranging from 31 to 44 feet. Thanks to its impressive size and optimized layout, this future hall will accommodate increased production while preserving the high standards of quality that have defined Marex for decades.

The expansion represents more than 11,000 additional sqm and will increase the shipyard’s production capacity by over 50%.

A more modern and more sustainable shipyard

In addition to serving as a production facility, the new building will also include:
  • A showroom dedicated to showcasing the full Marex range — the Marex 310, Marex 330, Marex 360, Marex 375, the new Marex 390, and the highly awarded Marex 440 Scandinavia & Gourmet Cruiser. This space is unique within a shipyard, as showrooms are traditionally located at dealerships and rarely display the complete model range.
  • Brand-new offices and facilities for all team members.
  • A massive indoor testing pool measuring more than 30 meters, where engine cooling systems will be tested.

Marex is also placing strong emphasis on sustainability, with the new infrastructure integrating solar panels and geothermal energy solutions.

The well-being of the teams at the heart of the project

At Marex, the quality of the boats also relies on the quality of the working environment. The new facility has therefore been designed to provide greater comfort for the teams, with:

  • More spacious offices
  • A brand-new cafeteria, changing rooms and showers
  • Improved circulation throughout the building
  • And a modernized working environment

This approach perfectly reflects the philosophy of the Scandinavian builder, placing people at the heart of its priorities.

Marex confirms its premium positioning

With this new investment in Lithuania, Marex further confirms its position as a major player in the premium Scandinavian boating industry. The brand continues to combine:

  • Outstanding build quality
  • Exceptional onboard comfort and remarkable living space
  • Clever and practical innovations that make life on board easier
  • Excellence in the choice of materials and finishes

Merveille Nautic is proud to represent Marex in France and Monaco, guiding its clients in discovering these exceptional boats, designed for those seeking true cruising boats to enjoy with family and friends in all seasons.
