Two Windy nominated for the 2026 MotorBoat Awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Merveille Nautic, Windy’s official distributor in France, is proud to announce that two models are nominated for the 2026 MotorBoat Awards, each in their respective categories: the Windy 29 Hurac\u00e1n<\/a> and the new Windy SR40<\/a>. This double nomination once again confirms the Scandinavian brand’s expertise in terms of design and marine qualities.<\/p>\n

Windy 29 Hurac\u00e1n: a sleek and powerful day cruiser<\/h2>\n

The Windy 29 Hurac\u00e1n is a boat that immediately found her audience when she was unveiled in 2024. At less than 9 meters long, she embodies all of Windy’s excellence: sleek lines, remarkable seakeeping, premium materials, and high-end finishes. Her nomination for the upcoming Motorboat Awards, in the \u201cBest Sports Motorboat Under 30 Feet\u201d category, is therefore well deserved.<\/p>\n

New Windy SR40: a luxurious and versatile yacht tender<\/h2>\n

Her launch at the Palma International Boat Show in May 2025 caused quite a stir, and with good reason! The Windy SR40 is a very high-class walkaround, who is user-friendly, comfortable, and modular. Her strengths include an innovative design by Espen \u00d8ino, generous volumes and sunbathing areas, fluid circulation, and a highly versatile cockpit that can be completely opened or closed. This model will be presented in the \u201cFamily cruisers up to 45 feet\u201d category.<\/p>\n

About the MotorBoat Awards<\/h2>\n

Organized by MotorBoat & Yachting magazine, the Motor Boat Awards bring together influential figures from the nautical world every year and recognize the best boats on the market. Several criteria are examined: innovation, craftsmanship, and customer service. The results will be announced at the D\u00fcsseldorf Boat Show, which will take place from January 17 to 25, 2026.<\/p>\n
