Will the Windy SR40 win her first international award?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Scandinavian shipyard Windy Boats has just announced some exciting news: its latest model, the Windy SR40<\/a>, launched at the Palma International Boat Show in May 2025, has been officially nominated for the European Power Boat of the Year 2026 award in the under 14-metre category.<\/p>\n

A prestigious trophy in the nautical industry<\/h2>\n

Considered the Oscars of the boating world, this award highlights the best boats launched on the market each year. The jury is made up of specialist journalists who work for major boating magazines. For a week, usually after the autumn boat shows, each boat presented is carefully observed and tested.<\/p>\n

International recognition for Windy Boats<\/h2>\n

Designed by renowned naval architect Espen \u00d8ino, the new Windy SR40 \u2013 available in inboard and outboard versions \u2013 embodies all of Windy’s expertise in terms of design, marine performance, robustness and luxury. She has sleek lines, remarkable seakeeping, a comfortable and user-friendly deck layout and high-end finishes. Not to mention a new canopy that allows for year-round boating. All these features are sure to impress the jury.<\/p>\n
